Abigail Spencer

Abigail Leigh Spencer (born August 4th, 1981) is an American actor. Her most well-known work is her performances in the films Cowboys & Aliens,The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and Powerful and This Is Where I Leave You as well as for her roles on the television seriesAngela's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne and Suits. Her current role is Amantha Holden in the Sundance Channel Drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer - an American actress who has worked in television and film - is a television star. Her most well-known work was in her work in the drama series Rectify and in the science fiction series Timeless. She hails from Gulf Breeze, Florida and was first introduced to acting on the soap-opera All My Children. She was awarded a Soap Opera Digest Award for the Best Female Newcomer. In the following years, she mainly played roles as guest stars on a variety of TV programs. Her name was awe-inspiring for her portrayal of her character, Dr. Erin Jameson, in the television show Hawthorne. Her stunning looks and her acting skills her character slowly garnered an enormous fan base. In the year 2000, she made her acting debut in the movie Campfire Stones. Jekyll This Means War was another film in which she was a part of. She earned a nomination to the Madrid International Film Festival Award for her performance in the movie Beautiful Now'. In the show Timeless, she played the role of Lucy Preston, a history professor. Spencer has received positive reviews from critics about her performance in the sci-fi TV program Timeless. She was also nominated for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
